Kids Art Classes in Alpharetta, GA

Julia Borovyk teaches drawing and painting to children in Alpharetta, Georgia. The classes are in person, they happen at a local art studio, and every material a student needs is already waiting on the table when the lesson starts.

Lessons are built on step-by-step instruction. Students are taught to look at what is in front of them first, and then to build a picture out of composition, color and form, whether the work that afternoon is a drawing or a painting.

Children and teenagers from age five up work in the same room, in small groups, with a creative and friendly atmosphere rather than a rigid one.

Nothing has to be bought or carried in. All materials are included, so a student can arrive empty-handed and work with the studio's own supplies.

Class runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 PM Eastern — one fixed hour late in the afternoon on two fixed days, rather than a schedule that moves week to week. Booking is done online, and the booking page lists the Tuesdays and Thursdays the classes are available on.

The group is open to children and teenagers aged five and up, and it is a small group. Alpharetta is the studio city — the place the classes are actually held — and Johns Creek is the other area the studio lists as served.

There is no separate Alpharetta timetable to keep track of: everyone shares the Tuesday and Thursday hour.

What the students make during these classes ends up in the gallery of young artists — a page of paintings and drawings, full of creativity, color and imagination.
